The Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course is known by many names such as BDIC 4 Hour, BDI-4, 4 hour BDIC, BDIC course, BDIC school, Michigan 4 hour course, Michigan Point Reduction Course or 4 hour Michigan traffic ticket course to mention some.

This is a Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course approved by the State of Michigan and our curriculum name is the Driver and Traffic Safety Matrix Course.

This course meets the curriculum standards set forth by the defensive driving course requirements and has provided documented evidence of effectiveness in reducing collisions, moving violations and/or both.

If you are eligible to attend a basic driver improvement course, you should have received a notification from the State of Michigan delivered by first-class mail to the address listed on your driver license.

The Michigan Secretary of State allows you to complete a basic driver improvement course within 60 days of the issuance of notification of eligibility in order to prevent the moving violation points from being recorded.

The Michigan Basic Driver Improvement course is required by the Michigan Secretary of State to provide not less than 4 hours of instruction.

Our school automatically reports your successful completion of the course to the State of Michigan. It is your responsibility to complete within the prescribed time set forth by the Michigan Secretary of State to prevent points from being assessed to your license.
